A group of mortals have gathered to seek the deep fae. Tonight is your final act after months of secret meetings. You must not fail now.
Faewater is a one-page dark fantasy game about underwater fairies and the mortals they prey on. This tabletop role-playing game is designed to be played in a single two to three hour session. Quick stats:
- 120 - 180 minutes
- 4-6 players
- No prep
- No GM
The download for this game contains a fully illustrated 1-page PDF with instructions to play. If playing in person, two six-sided dice are required. A pen and paper (or index cards) would also be helpful, to keep track of character names and relationships.
Faewater was originally developed for the One-Page RPG Jam 2021, a design challenge for new single page RPGs.

Had the pleasure of playing this with the creator facilitating earlier in the year, and it's one of the most fun, collaborative, and emotional games I've played this year. It was really incredible seeing all these strangers opening up to lean into their (various) characters, making and offering deals, determining what would set them astray (and how). Really a special game, feel fortunate for my first experience to have been at that table! On my list o games to run for one of my various groups in 2026.
